YMCA Surf Lessons

 

YMCA Surf Camp 2024

Join us for a summer spent catching waves, learning new skills, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Campers will learn the basics of surfing and spend time in the water with experienced instructors gaining the confidence to catch their first wave and make friends while doing so.

For safety measures, staff will be waterfront lifeguard certified, participants will be required to meet the minimum swimming pre-requisite prior to camp, and all campers will receive a brightly colored rashguard to wear for the duration of the camp.

8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Labor Day Hours

All three of our YMCA campuses will be open from 8:00AM to 1:00PM on Monday, September 2nd, for Labor Day.

Updated Hours Today

We hope you and your family stayed safe during the storm. We will resume normal operations at all three YMCA of Coastal Carolina center locations at 11 a.m. today. 

  • Thursday, August 31: All three center locations will reopen at 11 a.m.
  • Friday, September 1: All three center locations will be open during normal hours.
 24-hour access will be unavailable to Tidelands Health Georgetown Family YMCA during the times the center is closed but will resume as normal tonight.
