Y Runners
Do you have an aspiring runner interested in learning more about the sport? Y Runners is designed for kids, ages 5 to 14, who wish to get intentional individual training in endurance, cross-country, and running technique.
Y Runners will meet twice per week for one hour. Athletes are introduced to form and techniques as well as a program designed to increase stamina. Runners will aim to build confidence and enhance endurance.
Runners are separated into age-appropriate groups for trainings and workouts.
Athletes will participate in three cross-country meets, as well as time trials throughout the season to measure their individual improvement.

Welcome to the 2024 Y Runners Season! We’re excited to kick off another fantastic fall of running, fitness, and fun. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out, our program offers something for everyone
Season Schedule:
- Start Date: November 4th
- End Date: December 18th
- Practice Days: Every Monday and Friday
- Practice Times: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Race Days: Instead of practice, we’ll have three races during the season, held on Saturdays at 7:30 AM:
- Race 1: November 16th
- Race 2: November 30th
- Race 3: December 14th
Costs:
- Full Season (Practices and Races): $50 for members, $60 for non-members. This fee includes all practices, a team shirt, and race entry fees.
- Race Only Option: If you’re interested in participating in the races without joining the full season of practices, you can do so for just $5 per race.
