Palmetto Giving Day: A Day of Generosity

What is Palmetto giving day? It is a 36 – hour online giving experience that provides the community with an opportunity to give back to participating organizations. GIVE FOR A BETTER US: IMPACTING GEORGETOWN COUNTY ONE GIFT AT A TIME

Every gift, no matter how big or small, makes a difference.

WHEN WE COME TOGETHER, WE CREATE A BETTER US.

Members of our community make an impact every day when we unite to enrich the lives of our neighbors. All gifts and acts of service make it possible for someone in our community to experience Hope & Possibility through all the Y has to offer.

At the Y, your gift means something. It means a chance for a child to create lasting memories with friends, it means a senior can stay healthy and mobile, it means a family has a safe place to spend time together. Every donation has the potential to change lives:

  • $100 helps a child gain life-saving skills and confidence through swim lessons.
  • $300 sends 2 children to summer day camp for a week, giving them a week of fun, adventure, and friendships.
  • $500 gives a senior with a fixed income an opportunity to become stronger in whole person health at the Y.
  • $1,000 provides a year-long membership to a family that would otherwise not be able to afford it.
  • $2,500 gives 4 people battling Parkinson’s the opportunity to gain strength and balance through Parkinson’s class at the Y.

Together, we can create a better us. Give now and make an impact in Georgetown County.
